Fr Colin's Update - Our Water Projects in Embu. Kenya

There are many places in the world where mothers must walk hours upon hours -- with their children in tow -- just to fill a few jugs of water to bring home to their families.

It's an exhausting ordeal that leaves many children too tired to learn or attend school. And for those without fresh water, many are stricken with cholera and dysentery.
Kenya Mission International  - Moviment Era Gdida   backed by the generosity of friends like you -- are bringing sustainable water supplies to entire communities.

Our Engineering Team, in collaboration with the University of Malta, Department of Engineering, are setting up here in Malta a prototype to take with us in Embu Kenya. We will reassemble the whole pieces and can begin to produce clean water within few days.

Other Teams will do their own particular programme according to goals set: the Educational Team, the Builders' Team, the Medical Team will pursue definite aims but also free to do according to local needs.

Can you help us?
